Survival & CraftingPalworld: Best Team Builds — Crush Every Boss
This guide lays out the strongest endgame team build in Palworld — a fully optimized T0 squad built to trivialize the final boss, the Drystar Dragon, and to comfortably clear every high-difficulty tower boss. The plan comes down to four pillars: raising the right Pals, farming the right passive traits, collecting the dedicated dark accessories, and assembling a support lineup that multiplies your main attackers. The goal is a setup that is simple to pilot yet overwhelming in damage, so you can roll over late-game content with minimal stress.

The Core: Bella Sisters as Your Main DPS
The heart of this build is the Bella Sisters — Bellanoir and Bellanoir Liberta. Their partner attacks, Nightmare Bloom and Nightmare Ray, are the single strongest partner offensive skills in the game: huge damage, long uptime, and a clean, laser-like shape that performs beautifully in boss fights. Think of them as the Palworld equivalent of a sustained laser cannon. Because they are slab bosses, you cannot hatch them from ordinary eggs, so you must collect slab fragments, fuse them, summon the slab boss at the altar, defeat it, and claim the egg to begin breeding.
To obtain the slab fragments, you have two routes. Expeditions grant them as rewards — the stronger your expedition team, the more fragments you receive, and you can see exactly which fragment a mission pays out. The second route is exploring underground caves, where different regions drop different fragments. Bellanoir's slab comes from the low-level stream cave near your starting area, Bellanoir Liberta's slab comes from the higher-level snow or volcano caves, and the Mossanda-line slab is found in the Falling Star underground cave.
Breeding for the Witch Trait
After defeating the slab boss at the altar you receive an egg. A hatched Bellanoir egg has no fixed trait, while a Bellanoir Liberta egg is guaranteed to carry the Witch trait, which boosts dark damage. To build a true monster, you want a Liberta with both the Witch trait and high ivs. The breeding loop works like this: hatch two Bellanoir first to improve offspring ivs through repeated pairing (use a sex-change potion if you get a same-sex pair), then cross Bellanoir plus Bellanoir Liberta to produce a high-iv, Witch-tagged Liberta. Repeat until you settle on two strong Witch Libertas. Running two lets you swap Pals during skill cooldown so damage never stops, and it spreads the survival pressure — a big help against the toughest tower bosses.
Essential Passives and the Relic Converter
The must-have passive traits to implant on the Bella Sisters are Double-Edge Sword and Immortal. Double-Edge Sword raises attack at the cost of defense, but that lost defense is covered by a support Pal's partner skill. Immortal grants 5% lifesteal on attacks, and combined with the Witch trait's dark-damage bonus, these three are mandatory. The fourth slot is your choice: Demon God for more attack, Cool Mind to shorten skill cooldown, or Diamond Body for stun immunity and extra survival. The author personally runs one Demon God (attack) and one Diamond Body (survival).
Once you reach the World Tree and hit level 74, build the Relic Converter first — it unlocks powerful colored traits. The best farming spot is the two-loop route near the Yellow Dust Canyon; clearing the local mini-bosses and their adds there yields more high-tier relics and holy water than random mobs. If you would rather skip the grind, raise Pal spawn and item-drop rates in the world settings. Because converted traits are random, use the save-and-load trick: stock up on yellow, purple, and blue relics, let the game auto-save on exit, then convert with World Tree Holy Water applied, and if the result lacks your key traits, reload and try again. Also note that relic conversion can drop weapon and armor blueprints — even Legendary ones — so delay crafting your final gear until after you have converted a large batch.
Dark Accessories You Must Collect
Your character needs the four dedicated dark accessories for the Bella Sisters to maximize both survival and damage:
- Wang the Grandmaster's Badge — raises player and Pal attack. Below the Tianyang watchtower, a simple puzzle, at coordinates -300, -1507.
- Black Moon Queen's Talisman — raises Pal defense and dark damage. In the pure snowfield, head northeast and break the three seal stones before the ancient ruin, at 298, 342.
- Pluto's Command Rod — raises attacking Pals' attack and dark damage. At the ancient ruin beside the Falling Star crystal-tree waypoint, at -947, -1134.
- Dark Witch Cat Ring — boosts Pal dark damage. At the ancient ruin west of the Ice Ring Ruins island waypoint; you must defeat the guardian within one minute, at -1729, -990.
Support Pals and the Full Team
With the Bella Sisters locked in as your twin carries, bring three support Pals to amplify them. Borukos is mandatory: whenever your bullets hit an enemy, deployed Pals gain stacking attack and defense (1–5% per hit, 5% at four stars), up to 30 stacks for a sustained 150% bonus as long as your drone keeps firing. Zhiyelu is also mandatory: it steadily drains the HP of deployed Pals but raises their attack by 40–80% (80% at four stars), and that self-drain is offset by the Immortal lifesteal. Aijiluga shortens your shield-repair time and reduces shield damage taken for extra personal safety — bring it if you want more margin for error. Tuxiu cuts deployed-Pal skill cooldown; the author skips it because two battle Pals already cover each other's cooldowns, but it is a fine option.
For the support Pals themselves, passive traits like Raid Captain (+10% player attack), Stronghold Strategist (+10% player defense), and Celestial Body (defense plus status immunity) make the whole team tougher. Against the hardest tower bosses, swap to your best weapon and armor; for normal towers, the drone alone is enough.
Boss-by-Boss Battle Plan
To push Pal strength: raise levels, hit four stars, max the statue upgrades, feed fruit to 100 ivs, max trust, and awaken. For the level-80 Drystar Dragon, keep your battle Pals at 79–80 to avoid level penalty, eat an attack-food buff beforehand, wear all four dark accessories, and summon the drone at the start (the author's Pals dealt damage so fast he skipped the drone and still won in about 40 seconds). The loop is simple: after a Pal spends its skill, you fire your own partner attack, then swap to the other Pal and repeat — just keep moving so you never get hit.
For the high-difficulty tower boss Grizzbolt, summon the drone, keep dodging, and repeat the same rotation; it falls just as easily. For later tower bosses you can further boost Pals with the advanced enhancement rifle, raise your own output, and implant buff traits on supports — the team's ceiling is still well above what you need. Follow this build and every boss in the game becomes a controlled, repeatable win.
